Chemsol Chemwall Eco
Chemsol Chemwall Eco is a ready-to-use, tintable waterproof coating used for exterior and interior walls to form a seamless, long-lasting waterproof membrane. It offers excellent hiding properties and strong intercoat adhesion, ensuring durability and an attractive finish.

Method of Application
1. Surface Preparation
- Surface should be clean, dry, and in sound condition.
- All dirt, grease, and loose particles should be removed, and the surface should be washed thoroughly with clean water.
- All previous coatings, if any, shall be completely removed.
2. New Surfaces
- The newly constructed surfaces shall be completely cured before coating application.
3. Cracks and Joint Treatment
- All surface cracks from 0–5mm shall be opened with a 3mm angle grinder.
- The opened cracks shall be cleaned properly and filled with Chem Crack Fill (acrylic crack-filler).
- Cracks more than 5mm should be repaired using polymer-modified mortar with Chemsol Chemfast SBR at a cement sand ratio of 1:3 and polymer content of 10% by weight of cement. Allow it to cure as required.
4. Application
- Chemwall Eco can be tinted in the desired shade.
- Apply the first coat of Chemwall Eco on the primed surface using a roller or brush with 10% water dilution.
- Allow the coating to air dry for 6 hours before applying the second coat.
- Apply the second coat of Chemwall Eco over the first coat, maintaining coverage of approximately 4 m²/L. Allow to air cure for 6–7 hours.
- Dark base shades may require an additional coat for uniform finishing.
- Let the coating air cure for 7 days for optimal performance.
Precautions and Limitations
- Do not dilute Chemwall Eco beyond the recommended proportion.
- Keep material closed when not in use.
- Do not apply when rain is expected in a short time span.
- Maintain uniform coating thickness during application.
- Do not overextend the brush or apply thin coats.

Theoretical Coverage

Method of Application

4. Priming
- Apply one coat of Chemseal Prime (100% diluted with water) as a primer on the surface.
- The priming coat should provide coverage of approximately 80–100 sq.ft./L.
5. Application
- Chemwall PU can be tinted to the desired shade before use.
- Apply the first coat of Chemwall PU on the primed surface using a roller or brush at a coverage rate of 0.125 L/sq.m/coat.
- Allow the first coat to air dry for 6 hours before applying the second coat.
- Apply the second coat at the same coverage rate (0.125 L/sq.m/coat).
- Allow the coating to air cure for 7 days for complete film development.

- Do not dilute Chemwall PU with water.
- Keep material tightly closed when not in use.
- Do not apply when rain is expected in a short time span.
- Use Chemseal Prime as the recommended primer.
