Chemfast SBR Pro
Chemsol Chemfast SBR Pro is a ready-to-use waterproofing and bonding chemical based on styrene-butadiene latex. It is designed for repair of spalled plaster and concrete areas, waterproofing small sections such as terraces, wet areas, and chajjas, and for bonding new to old concrete. The product provides strong adhesion, flexibility, and durability, making it ideal for concrete modification and general waterproofing applications.

Method of Application
1. Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and sound. Remove dirt, grease, and loose materials. Wash thoroughly with clean water and remove any previous coatings completely before application.
2. New Surfaces
Allow newly constructed surfaces to cure completely before applying Chemfast SBR Pro.
3. Cracks and Joint Treatment
Open cracks (0–5 mm) using a 3 mm angle grinder, clean properly, and fill with Chemsol Chem Crack Fill. For cracks larger than 5 mm, prepare a polymer-modified mortar using Chemfast SBR Pro (cement:sand ratio 1:3 and polymer content 10% by weight of cement). Allow proper curing before proceeding.
4. Application
Mix the contents thoroughly before use. Reinforce drain outlets with fiberglass mesh where needed. For coating, mix 1.5 kg of cement with 1 kg of Chemfast SBR Pro. Apply the first coat uniformly and allow to dry for a minimum of 6 hours. Apply the second coat at 90° to the first and allow to dry for at least 6 hours.
5. Ponding
Allow the system to air cure for 3–5 days before performing the pond test. Conduct ponding with water up to a maximum height of 5 cm.
Precautions and Limitations
- Do not dilute with water for coating applications.
- Keep the container sealed when not in use.
- Apply two extra coats at corners, joints, and repair areas.
- Ensure the surface is in SSD condition before coating application.
