Chemsol Chemgloss

Chemsol Chemgloss imparts a shiny, decorative finish to the surface it is applied on. It provides a tough, durable, and washable coating that enhances both the appearance and longevity of the substrate.

Method of Application

1. Surface Preparation

• Surface should be clean, dry, and in sound condition.
• All dirt, grease, and loose particles should be removed, and the surface washed thoroughly with clean water.
• All previous coatings, if any, should be completely removed before application.

2. Application

• Apply one coat of Chemgloss Red Oxide Primer on the surface and allow it to dry for at least 6–8 hours.
• Once the primer is fully dry, apply the first coat of Chemgloss and let it air dry for 6–8 hours.
• Apply the second coat of Chemgloss for a smoother, more uniform finish. Allow adequate drying time between coats.

Precautions and Limitations

• Do not over-dilute Chemgloss.
• Do not overextend brush strokes during application.
• Stir the container well before use.
• Do not apply if there is a chance of rain within 3–4 hours of coating application.

Theoretical Coverage

Primer coverage: 100–130 sq.ft./L per coat
Chemgloss coating coverage: 90–105 sq.ft./L for 2 coats (depending on the surface porosity).

Storage

Chemsol Chemgloss shall be stored in a cool and dry place protected from direct sunlight.

Shelf Life

24 months from the date of manufacturing if unopened and stored properly.

Health and Safety

• Wash skin with soap and water after contact.
• In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with water and consult a physician if irritation persists.
• On ingestion, seek medical attention immediately.
